TfL Ref: FOI-4667-1718
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 16 February 2018 asking for information about expenditure.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.
TfL paid for 127,050 leaflets, at a cost of 12p per leaflet which included design, print and distribution. The leaflets were distributed to households within a 1km radius of 15 bus routes serving locations in and around the Wembley area. Within the leaflet we provided information on several routes serving the area as well as where to find information on other routes - ‘For all stops on these routes and other routes, simply search ‘Journey Planner’ online’.
The Hayes leaflet provided information on 13 routes serving Hayes and the surrounding area and was also delivered within a 1km radius of each route featured in the Hayes leaflet. Within the Ealing area there are a three bus routes that overlap between Hayes and Wembley in terms of the 1km radius which is why two leaflets were delivered.
