I believe that TFL control the cost for a Black Taxi ride in London .
With regard to the cost per mile and standing charge , I would be grateful to be advised the costs that are within these costs that are there for the depreciation of the cost of the Cab and for the servicing etc .

Transport for London (TfL) is responsible for the regulation of taxi (black cab) fares in London. A Cost Index model is used when reviewing taxi fares and tariffs and this model includes a number of different elements associated with being a taxi driver in London. The Cost Index tracks changes to the different elements and these include vehicle costs and servicing.
