Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 10th March 2024 asking for information about the 434 bus route in Kenley. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“The Higher Drive section of the revised 434 bus route in Kenley / Purley will not be delivered because of sight-line issues.

Please note that this subject remains a live issue. It has not yet been resolved nor do we have an exact date as to when we expect it to be resolved. Your questions are addressed in turn below:
1: Please see the attached extract from the ‘route test notes’ which provide this information.
2: The measures to overcome the sightline issues have not yet been agreed.
3: As referenced above, there is as yet no agreed timescale.
