You asked
How many advertisements paid for or sponsored by (a) Russia Today (b) any company/business fully or partially funded by any [arm of a] state, have been placed on TFL property since January 1 2017? Please break down the answer by month if possible. How much money has TFL received from (a) Russia Today (b) any company/business fully or partially funded by any [arm of a] state, in exchange for displaying advertisements sponsored by or paid for by the company since January 1 2017? Please break down the answer by month if possible. Please can you provide a list of sites where (a) Russia Today (b) any company/business fully or partially funded by any [arm of a] state, has advertised or sponsored advertisement on TFL property since January 1 2017? Please could you also provide a breakdown of what your departmental cat is fed on a normal weekday, with price included of each meal?

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 17 February 2018 asking for information about advertisements.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.

There have been no further advertisement campaigns on our network by Russia Today since our last response to you on this subject on 23 November 2017 (Our Ref FOI-2011-1718) and therefore the information you have requested is already available to you.

With regards to “any company/business fully or partially funded by any [arm of a] state”, we do not hold this information. We are not privy to the corporate ownership and financial arrangements of advertisers and so have no record of those that may be fully or partially funded by any state.

Lastly, we do not hold any information regarding a ‘departmental cat’.
