Thank you for your email received by us on 17 February 2018 asking for information about fares revenue during peak and off-peak periods.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for:

May I know the FY2015/2016 total fare revenue during peak (6:30am - 9:00am + 4pm - 7pm) and offpeak periods, for Underground+Overground+DLR, and bus+tram separately? Thank you.

The following tables list our estimates of 2015/16 revenue on London Underground, Overground, Docklands Light Railway (DLR), Buses and Tram.

I can advise that we only hold data for 2015/16 by ticket type rather than the starting time of a journey; therefore the Peak columns indicate whether the ticket type can be used during peak hours.

I can advise that the same fare is charged throughout the day for bus travel. Consequently, the ticket type will not indicate whether journeys are likely to have been undertaken during the time periods outlined in your request.
