Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 8th March 2024 asking for route 240 bus tap-in data from Mill Hill East Station going towards Edgware.
 
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked the following, further to case reference FOI-4167-2324:

“Would it also be possible to get 240 bus tap in data from Mill Hill East Station going towards Edgware for the same time period.”

I can confirm that we hold the information you require, which is provided in the attached spreadsheet. You may need to expand the width of some columns to read the data in full.  The spreadsheet shows the average number of bus boarders at Stop A at Mill Hill East Station on the route 240 towards Edgware from January 2018 to December 2023. The data is broken down by year, month, day type and time period. The time periods used and their respective hours are as follows:
 
  • Weekday AM peak (07:00-10:00)
  • Weekday Inter-peak (10:00-16:00)
  • Weekday PM peak (16:00-19:00)
  • Weekday Off-peak (19:00-07:00)
  • Weekend (all day, 00:00-23:59)

We do not hold bus boarding data for April, May and June 2020 due to the enforcement of middle door boarding at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
