Hi, I am . I am writing to obtain the information regards the number of passenger on Friday for peak and off-peak hours respectively.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information:
The number of passenger on Tube, DLR, London Overground, Elizabeth line, and National Rail services across London and the southeast RESPECTIVELY, for the peak and off-peak hour separately, for the following period:
i) 2018/19
ii) 2019/20
iii) 2020/21
iv) 2021/22
v) 2022/23
vi) 2023/24

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13 March 2024 asking for information about passenger numbers on our services. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked: I am writing to obtain the information regards the number of passenger on Friday for peak and off-peak hours respectively.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information:
The number of passengers on Tube, DLR, London Overground, Elizabeth line, and National Rail services across London and the southeast RESPECTIVELY, for the peak and off-peak hour separately, for the following period:
Annual journeys are available in our published data (except National Rail (NR) which we don’t hold the data for as we do not operate those services), and the ratio of peak to off peak journeys by mode can be calculated from our NUMBAT data (on crowding.data.tfl.gov.uk). The data can then be combined to get an annual figure. Please see the following links:
