b) how many part time operators were recruited for night tube?

There are 197 currently employed, however as they move into full-time roles, they will be backfilled.

c) do night tube operators work/or allowed to work day time shifts if required (as overtime or something) if there is a need to cover daytime work?

Night Tube is strictly 16 hours over Friday and Saturday nights. No overtime is available.

d) how long is the normal training course for a train operator?

12-16 weeks depending on the line and stock.

e) Tube operators salary? Are Sundays part of working week and are there enhancements for certain shifts?

The full-time salary is £52,872. Sundays are a normal working day, and there are no enhancements for specific shifts, the salary is a consolidated salary. Nigh Tube is pro-rated dependant on shift allocation (16 hours per week equates to approx. £24,214 p.a.).

2) Train Operator posts

a) can you tell me the last time Underground advertised train operator posts externally?

February 2017.

b) Is there any plans to advertise future train operator posts externally?
c) do you know or have any idea when next train operator jobs will be advertised externally?

Yes, in March 2018.

3) Train Service Controllers or Line Controllers:

a) does Underground advertise Line Controller or signal operator posts externally?
b) Is there any plans to advertise future train operator posts externally?

We do not advertise these posts externally and do not have any plans to do so in the future.

4) Bus Control Office

a) I beleive London Buses control is based at Palestra near Blackfriars, do Buses advertise jobs in their control centre externally?

We do advertise externally, in the past two years we have advertised three vacancies both internally and externally.

b) I have seen ibus controllers jobs advertised. Do these roles actually work for TFL or are these posts employed by the private bus companies?

iBus controllers are generally employed by Private Bus Operating Companies. We have a number of support roles that work with the iBus system in TfL (although not generally called controllers).

5) I bus.

Totally random thing, are you able to send me the new ibus announcement audio file which says "please hold on whilst the bus is moving" only been in use for about a week.
