Can I have the data for the amount of vehicles registered as exempt from ULEZ charges that fall under the category 'Disabled' and 'Disabled Passenger Vehicle' Tax Class? I would like to have the data by year as of the 1st January each year for 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 in a chart format please.
I would also like the data in a separate chart for vehicles that fall under the category of Wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV).
I would also like the data in a separate chart for vehicles that fall under the category of Disabled Benefits grace period.
Lastly I would like the same data for vehicles that are registered as exempt from ULEZ charges that are over 40 years old and have been successfully registered with the DVLA for a historic vehicle tax class.

Thank you for your request received on 8 March 2024 asking for information about vehicles that are exempt from the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
• Can I have the data for the amount of vehicles registered as exempt from ULEZ charges that fall under the category 'Disabled' and 'Disabled Passenger Vehicle' Tax Class? I would like to have the data by year as of the 1st January each year for 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 in a chart format please.
We do not hold this information as tax class is recorded by the DVLA.
• I would also like the data in a separate chart for vehicles that fall under the category of Wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAV). • I would also like the data in a separate chart for vehicles that fall under the category of Disabled Benefits grace period.

• Lastly I would like the same data for vehicles that are registered as exempt from ULEZ charges that are over 40 years old and have been successfully registered with the DVLA for a historic vehicle tax class.
We do not hold this information as the vehicle is registered with the DVLA as historic tax class.
