Ascertain if an individual was a PH driver
Request ID: FOI-4459-1718
Date published: 15 February 2018
You asked
It has been reported in the Hackney Gazette that an individual was stopped by police in possession of an offensive weapon, i.e. a large knife. He was subsequently charged and convicted. The press report stated that he was an Uber driver. A check on the TFL licence checker failed to reveal any trace of this person. Could you please confirm whether or not at any time if he has ever been a licensed PH driver. Thank you.
