Request ID: FOI-4443-2324 Date published: 15 March 2024
You asked
Please make the new Central Line timetable available on your web site page https://tfl.gov.uk/corporate/publications-and-reports/working-timetables. WTT 70 is no longer valid and your page about the Central Line disruption says that a new timetable has been introduced. You should do this routinely whenever a new timetable is introduced - you shouldn't have to be asked via an FOI request every time.

Our ref: FOI-4443-2324
Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 29 February 2024 asking for information about the Central line working timetable.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The public corporate Working Timetable (WTT) page as referenced is for uploading the main base Working Timetables only i.e., the standard Timetables that operate for the long term. This would typically be WTT’s and the special Autumn Timetable for the Metropolitan line Leaf Fall.
The objective has never been to upload every single Timetable publication on the webpage as this would be significantly onerous, with an unsourced overhead to routinely upload and maintain the page on a daily basis, due to the rate of Timetable publications, all with different dates, short term duration of operation and parameters, that would cause confusion and reputational damage if not actively maintained. All timetable information on what is scheduled to run on each day is uploaded and captured on Journey Planner and the corresponding Timetables page in the Travel Information section: https://tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/timetables/
The current issues on the Central line is a unique and unprecedented situation. The emergency Central line Timetable was only implemented recently and covers Monday – Thursday. It is still being adapted to include a Friday – Sunday & Night Tube plan and is therefore, still incomplete. However, the intention for the emergency Timetable is a temporary arrangement only, not a long term permanent change or a brand new Working Timetable, which is out of alignment with the title of the corporate page. There is still yet a decision to be made on how long this emergency Timetable will be in place for once it is complete.
If you are not satisfied with this response please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely,
Tahsin Prima FOI Case Officer General Counsel Transport for London
