Delays or cancellations at Harold Wood station
Request ID: FOI-4441-1718
Date published: 06 March 2018
You asked
I ask for a breakdown of all the arrival time (or not) of the 7:58 at Harold Wood and the reason for any delay or cancellation. As before I request this using my rights under FOI legislation if needed. I also asked in my previous email for clarification as to why the large station clocks have been removed from the platforms on the Crossrail route and why trains are now advertised as “due in...” rather than the specific train time. Again I ask for copies of internal documents showing this reasoning under FOI legislation.
Thanks for your email.
Please use the timeframe of the last calendar month from my request (i.e. 5 January 2018 - 5 February 2018).

In terms of the above, a negative number denoted the train arrived at its destination early, 0 represents ‘on time’ and a positive number indicates lateness. For example, the train arrived at Liverpool Street on time on the 5th January 2018.
The clocks were removed as they had reached the end of their functional life and were no longer maintainable. The new Passenger Information System provides the time to passengers. No official documents exist relating to this decision as it was undertaken as part of the overall installation of the new Passenger Information System.
