Our ref: FOI-4438-1718/GH

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7 February 2018 asking for information about the number of BTP officers.

London’s transport network is a safe, low crime environment, where very few of the 15 million journeys made each day involve anyone experiencing a crime. Transport for London staff are on hand to help customers whenever they need assistance and work closely with the police to ensure offenders are dealt with robustly.

Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you require. The British Transport Police are best placed to provide you with this information. You can make an FOI request to the BTP at www.btp.police.uk/foi.

Yours sincerely
