I have noted a previous FOI request & answer regarding the temporary 30mph speed restriction on the A40 between the Target Roundabout and Greenford. I would like to ask how long TfL intend to take in contemplating the necessary repairs to the central barriers. Please could you provide a date for when we can expect this temporary speed restriction to end & the speed limit to return to 50mph?

Thank you for your request received on 2 February 2018 asking for information about the temporary speed restriction on the A40.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested as we do not have a date for when the current speed restriction will end. The 30mph restriction has been put in place to ensure the safety of all road users. We will continue to carry out our inspections along this route and take any necessary mitigating action.

Please accept our apologies that we are unable to assist you further on this occasion.
