Can you please advise the number of reports of Illegal Plying for Hire and/or Touting in Brentwood, Essex that you have been asked to investigate by Brentwood Borough Council within the 12 month period 1st January 2017 to 31st December 2017. Thank you.

Thank you for your email received by us on 2 February 2018 asking for information about Uber in Brentwood, Essex.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.

I can advise that following a comprehensive search of Transport for London’s systems we have been able to locate no such reports from Brentwood Borough Council during this time period. If you are aware of any incidents of illegal plying for hire or touting in Brentwood that we should be made aware of please do contact us via the following email address: [email protected]
