The Mayor of London announced 6 new cycle routes to be designed by boroughs and TfL yesterday, 30th January. Please can you let me know how much, per borough and TfL, has been allocated to these schemes for 2017/18 and subsequent years.

Thank you for your email received by us on 31 January 2018 asking for information about new cycle routes for London.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked for the following:

The Mayor of London announced 6 new cycle routes to be designed by boroughs and TfL yesterday, 30th January. Please can you let me know how much, per borough and TfL, has been allocated to these schemes for 2017/18 and subsequent years.

I can advise that the funding for these future cycling routes was allocated in TfL’s new Business Plan. The £142m is allocated for these schemes during the lifecycle of the Plan, however, at this early stage we do not hold the detailed breakdown that you have requested.
