Wifi on station platforms

You asked

You say that wifi is available: "Where can I get it? - WiFi is available in over 250 London Underground stations (95% of the network) and Victoria Coach Station. You can access the WiFi service in ticket halls and corridors, and on escalators and station platforms." https://my.virginmedia.com/wifi/faqs.html Can you please tell me on which northern line platforms it is possible to get the service? My instinct is that it is very few of those that are underground. It is an excellent initiative but if it is not available on most platforms, where people spend most of their time waiting, it is perhaps not worthy of the hype - or needs to be enhanced?

Thank you for your email received by us on 27 January 2018 asking for information about WiFi on the London Underground network.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked for the following:

I can advise that WiFi is now available at over 260 Tube and 79 London Overground stations across the network. Therefore over 97% of the London Underground network now has wifi access. The only station on the Northern line that doesn’t have Wi-Fi is Moorgate.
