Request for Records of serious bus delays in Streatham

Request ID: FOI-4216-2324
Date published: 26 March 2024

You asked

Serious category "Level One" incidents have been recorded by TfL Operations Network Management Control Centre on the A23 Streatham High Road SW16 attributed to or exacerbated by the Streatham Wells Low Traffic Neighbourhood. How many Level One incidents have been recorded in the Streatham Area SW16 in each of the following months to date: September 2023 October 2023 November 2023 December 2023 January 2024 February 2024 As an example Incident Ref 3 was under the title "Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN)". How many of these Level One incidents have been categorised this way, or mention the LTN as a cause or factor? Incident Ref 3 refers to serious delays of "between 20 and 40 minutes". What is the longest delay mentioned in any of these Level One Incidents and on which date did it occur? Please note that, in addition to buses travelling on the A23 Streatham High Road, the above request includes the 315 and 255 bus services which have also suffered serious disruption. Clarification received 29/02/2024: With regard to the two points you raise: I cannot see how I can be much more precise. I stated the "A23 Streatham High Road SW16", TfL will know which buses are routed along this corridor but they include the 50, 57, 109, 118, 133, 159, 201, 249, 250, 319, 333 For the avoidance of doubt I also mentioned routes 315 and 255 from and to Balham which are routed along the A23 Streatham High Road. These 13 bus services are the principal ones serving the Streatham Area SW16 which is the subject of my request. With regard to the report of a Level One Incident "Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN)" this is the particular incident recorded by the Network Management Control Centre which has been made known. My request concerned other Level One Incidents in the area concerned - how many in the months September to February were also attributed wholly or in part to the LTN as in the case of the incident I sent. And what was the longest delay. I look forward to receiving a response to my request.
