Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14 February 2024 asking for information about Edgware bus garage.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and our information access policy. I can confirm that we do hold the information you require. You asked:
FOI-3200-2324 states the number of 'buses stabled overnight at Edgware Garage to be typically 90. Conversely, 3884-2324 states more than double this number. Which is correct and how are the different figures derived?
Both figures are correct as there are approximately 90 buses in each garage, with circa 190 buses between both Edgware garage sites. Please note, these figures can change overtime depending on how many route each bus operator is contracted to operate from each garage site. We apologies for the confusion.
