Thamesmead & Beckton Riverside Public Transport Programme - Strategic Outline Case
Please provide a full copy of the Strategic Outline Case for the Thamesmead & Beckton Riverside Public Transport Programme, including optioneering assessments for a longlist and shortlist. This was previously requested (TfL Ref: FOI-0378-2324) and noted to be withheld on the basis that it was due to be published, since which some time has elapsed and a consultation published.
Please could you also provide (to the extent that it is not included or provided in the above) any optioneering assessments used to support the "Extending the Docklands Light Railway to Beckton Riverside and Thamesmead" consultation currently active on the TfL website.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 7 February 2024 asking for information about Thamesmead & Beckton Riverside Public Transport Programme - Strategic Outline Case.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require. You asked: Please provide a full copy of the Strategic Outline Case for the Thamesmead & Beckton Riverside Public Transport Programme, including optioneering assessments for a longlist and shortlist. The Strategic Outline Case or SOC was submitted to the government in Spring 2023 and it was planned to publish the document on the website once the government had formally responded.
However the project then evolved in a different way without government funding support, and as such the document wasn’t published as events had moved on.
