The most recent cost estimate of extending 4G and 5G mobile coverage to the entirety of the London Underground network (including the Elizabeth Line).

Thank you for your request which we received on 29 January 2024, asking for information about 4G and 5G mobile coverage on the London Underground.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
Mobile coverage on the London Underground including the Elizabeth line (and the underground areas of the DLR and London Overground) are at zero cost to TfL. It’s being undertaken by Boldyn Networks under a concession agreement where they provide revenue to TfL to deliver this service.
