Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 27th January 2024 asking for information about delays on the Piccadilly and District lines on 8th January 2024. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Like FOI-1360-1920, I request copies of internal delay reports and associated documentation for incidents of delays on the Piccadilly Line and district line trains into central london on the morning of Monday 8th January 2024”.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
The requested delay reports are attached, as follows:
Summary of Incidents for District and Piccadilly lines – all delays recorded on Monday 8 January
EIRF13 Summary report showing Electronic Incident Report Forms (EIRFs) for District and Piccadilly lines between 00:00-12:00 on 8 January.
The main incidents of note were:
District line - non communicating train at Earls Court at 10:32.
Piccadilly line - a fire alert caused by a traction cable at South Kensington resulting in a two hour suspension.
Note that some redactions have been made to the documents under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act, which protects against the unfair release of personal data.
