The above display was removed about a year ago. I have been informed it will be replaced. This information was given by phone by TFL some months ago. Are you able to state when it will be replaced? The Major has said that these displays will be retrained as policy Can it be said when it will be replaced. Thank you.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18 March 2020 asking for information about when the electronic ‘Countdown’ display at Park Street, Croydon (serving Northbound routes) will be replaced.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

The bus shelter you’ve asked about has now been setup with everything that the Countdown display needs to work and our sign engineers will now reinstall the sign imminently.

Please note the Government has announced a series of measures to tackle the Coronavirus. It is essential for London, and in particular for all critical workers, that we continue to provide a safe transport network that enables them to make the journeys they need to.

In current circumstances, we are not able to answer FOI requests readily and we ask that you please do not make a request to us at present.
