I would like to inquire as to when the broken Escalator leading from the jubilee line platform to the upper DLR platforms 3 and 4 will be replaced. This has been out of order for months and is impeding flow through the station.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 24th January 2024 asking for information about the escalator at Canning Town DLR station.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“I would like to inquire as to when the broken Escalator leading from the jubilee line platform to the upper DLR platforms 3 and 4 will be replaced. This has been out of order for months and is impeding flow through the station.”
I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Work to repair the escalator is due to begin on 16th February, with a return to service date of 21st May 2024.
