ULEZ Charge Errors

You asked

I would like to know how many ulez charges have you had to refund due to the fact that there were processing errors....eg the photo showing a vehicle that belonged to somebody else. Clarification: A couple of weeks ago I checked my account as I regularly do since speaking to other anti ulez protesters. I was shocked to see that I had been debited with £12.50 showing a photo of a car that was NOT mine. You had to credit it back to me after I complained. I know of several vehicle owners reporting the same problem. How many CREDITS have you had to give back for the same 'processing errors' as you described it.

Thank you for your clarification received on 26 January 2024 asking for information about Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charges.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and our information access policy.

We do not hold the information they have requested. We are unable to confirm how many credits/refunds have been made for a processing error where a ULEZ charge had been incorrectly debited as we do not link the reason for the request to the credit or refund.
