Thank you for your request received on 25 January 2024 asking for information about the Project 2030 website.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:

1.         When was https://project2030tfl.co.uk/ website created?

The original scope for Project 2030 was a tool to attract applications for people to join what was then known as the Information Management department, back in early 2017. The focus was on the key data projects that we were planning at the time.
 
2.         When were the contents taken off line or when was the site shut down for many months of maintenance (so far as I am aware, it was around about the date of ULEZ expansion, 29 August 2023)?
3.         On whose directions the contents were taken off line or the site shut down for maintenance?
4.         For what reason was the website taken offline or closed for maintenance?
5.         All emails, minuted discussions and other written communications relating to the taking offline of the website or shutting it down for maintenance from 15 August 2023 to present.
 
The site was taken offline in early September 2023. The site maintenance statement is a standard website response and refers to the maintenance and review of the content hosted, based on the vacancies available and roles being offered as well as to re-write the content. During a meeting to discuss the changes required to update the content the decision was taken to take the site offline in the interim. We do not hold any minutes for this meeting. Due to competing priorities and resourcing challenges this has not been revisited to date. We will not be updating the content until we have completed reviewing our future resource demand and requirements and affordability.

6.         All emails, minuted discussions and other written communications relating to the taking offline of the website or shutting it down for maintenance from 15 August 2023 to present.

We do not hold this information, as stated above the website was taken offline in order to review the content not for maintenance.
