Can you please release the details of the calculation for the chart on page 22 in the Cycling Action Plan 2.
This would detail the cycling volumes for each borough casualty numbers and the boroughs in each of the three groups represented in the bar chart.

TfL Ref: FOI-3760-2324 Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20th January 2024 asking for information about the Cycling Action Plan 2. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. Specifically you asked: “Can you please release the details of the calculation for the chart on page 22 in the Cycling Action Plan 2. This would detail the cycling volumes for each borough casualty numbers and the boroughs in each of the three groups represented in the bar chart.” I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Please find attached the details of the calculations for the chart on page 22 of the Cycling Action Plan 2. This includes the formula in the column heading where relevant. Please note that since the publication of the Cycling Action Plan 2, we have updated our estimates of the percentage of Londoners living within 400m of the strategic cycle network in 2022. The previous estimates included some temporary unsigned routes, whereas the attached update includes only signed routes that are part of the strategic cycle network.
