Dear Mr Mayor.
Chadwell Heath Station.
Freedom of Information request.
I wish to know the completion date for fully working Platform Announcements, Information Points and CCTV security systems ,which have not worked
properly since the footbridge, lifts and stairs were installed eight or more years ago at Chadwell Heath Station. There are numerous posts on the platforms completely devoid of equipment, which I assume are for mounting speakers and cctv cameras etc' like the rest stations on this line.
I initially asked Network Rail for this FOI request and they have passed the buck saying that Transport for London (TfL) are the organisation to fulfil this
request.
I am asking you as Mayor to forward the FOI request to the relevant TfL department able to to deal with the subject because I find navigating the TfL organisation almost impossible to fathom.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 20 February 2020 asking for information about Chadwell Heath station.
We have reviewed your request and we believe that the information you are requesting is held by Network Rail and not by TfL. Given that you had already approached Network Rail who had referred you to us, we have confirmed with Network Rail that they can definitely assist you. They have confirmed that they can and stated that they will be pleased to have the opportunity to respond. They have however asked that you contact them again directly to formalise your request.
