Please can you provide precise information as to when the 20mph signs were installed on the A41 in both directions between Fairfax Road and Langland Gardens, and provide this per location.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 10th January 2024 asking for information about the installation of 20mph signs on the A41 between Fairfax Road and Langland Gardens. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Please can you provide precise information as to when the 20mph signs were installed on the A41 in both directions between Fairfax Road and Langland Gardens, and provide this per location.”
TfL does not hold the exact information requested. The work was carried out by contractors on our behalf and we do not hold a record of exactly when each individual sign was installed. That said, we can tell you that the signs were installed across the week from 9th March 2023 to 16th March 2023, with the work carried out between 0800 and 16.00. 20mph roundels were also painted on the carriageway between the same dates, with that work taking place between 22:30 and 05:00.
