I would like to make the following request under the Freedom of Information Act:
Could you provide details on the following:
1. How many vehicles that require a DVS Safety permit are currently registered?
2. what is the estimated number of vehicle's that still require a DVS safety permit based around known numbers of vehicles operating within or entering the zone, based on current statistics?
3. Is there a estimated figure of safety permits that TfL currently forecasts will be registered within the next 24 months?
4. Based on current statistics, of the vehicles requiring a DVS safety permit, what percentage are based at operating centre's within the greater London area as opposed to those travelling from operating centre's outside the area?

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. Your questions and our replies are as follows:

We do not hold this information.
4. Based on current statistics, of the vehicles requiring a DVS safety permit, what percentage are based at operating centres within the Greater London area as opposed to those travelling from operating centres outside the area?
We do not hold this information – to explain, permit applications may be from a head office whereas the company has multiple operating centres across the UK.
