Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 9th January 2024 asking for information about TfL bus lane restrictions on Christmas Day 2023.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. 

Specifically you asked:

“I see that bus lane restrictions were waived for Christmas Day 2022. 

Was this the same in 2023 (specifically within the borough of Waltham Forest)?”

I can confirm that we hold the information you require. There were no exemptions on Christmas Day 2023. The restrictions applied as on any other day.
