Removal of Train Departure Screens from Norwood Junction.
Request ID: FOI-3584-1920
Date published: 04 March 2020
You asked
I am told by station staff at Norwood Junction that the 6 display screens over the booking office windows which give the times of trains serving 30 or 40 destinations of Southern trains have been permanently switched off.
Can you tell me why this has been done. How are passengers, who say wish to go to intermediate Southern stations, such as Purley Oaks, Dorking or a train to St Pancras Intl, etc supposed to see what platform their trains leave from especially if they are in a hurry.
Thank you
