Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
Has Crossrail and or Network Rail provided further funding to London Borough of Hillingdon (LBH) related and / or linked to the West Drayton station project and surrounding areas and if so, how much and when.
If an agreement or understanding is in place, what works and or infrastructure improvements were agreed to be carried out by LBH and or the authority’s appointed contractors linked to West Drayton Station and the surrounding areas.
Under the Crossrail Complementary Measures (CCM) programme with the aims to improve public realm, road safety, walking and cycling facilities in the vicinity of West Drayton station Transport for London has agreed to provide £1.3m funding to the London Borough of Hillingdon (LBH). The areas in the vicinity of the station identified for improvement works were Station Approach, Warwick Road and the Rail Bridge.
These works are ongoing and are scheduled to be completed by the contractors appointed by London Borough of Hillingdon by December 2020.
Attached is a plan (General Agreement Plan) and a cost summary for the works. Following a review of the cost estimate, the amount TfL agreed to pay was £1.3m which is lower than the estimated total cost.
This is all the information we hold in relation to the works to be carried out. If you need any further information please contact London Borough of Hillingdon at https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/.
