Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, could you please provide me with copies of all documents and reports regarding TFLs exploration of an “exemption” scheme regarding mobility aids not recognised by TFL?
I would like the information to be emailed to me in electronic form.
Also, is it possible to provide an estimate on how long it would take to fulfil this request?

Thank you for your further request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 28th March 2023 asking for information about electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters or other motorised mobility aids.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:
“Could you please provide me with copies of all documents and reports regarding TFLs exploration of an “exemption” scheme regarding mobility aids not recognised by TFL?
TfL does not hold any such documents or reports. We have been considering the viability of an exemption scheme, and in discussions within TfL and with our Independent Disability Advisory Group (IDAG), we have concluded that there are several factors that make such a scheme unfeasible at present. An Equality Impact Assessment to reflect this conclusion is currently being drafted, but will not be finalised for a matter of weeks. A copy will be available at that time.
