I understand TfL offer a staff Leisure travel benefit. I would like to make an FOI to the cost of providing this benefit to staff members. That is, does TfL have to pay the Rail Delivery Group to provide this benefit or does the RDG provide this facility free to TfL as a member of the RDG. Is their different levels of membership to the Leisure Travel Benefit scheme, TfL can choose from. If so what was the difference in overall costs per different level. Please provide a copy of the Leisure Travel Benefit scheme that TfL provide for staff.

Thank you for your request which we received on 23 March 2023, asking about Leisure Travel Benefit.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. 

Unfortunately we do not hold the information you have requested. Leisure Travel Benefit isn’t available to TfL staff.

The travel benefits that TfL staff do receive are staff and nominee Oyster cards, a 75% reimbursement on an annual rail season ticket and an interest free season ticket loan.
