Please provide a copy of the traffic management order to which the prohibition of cycling sign gives effect to on Lower Mortlake Road, just west of the junction with Pagoda Avenue

Thank you for your request which we received on 18 March 2023, asking for a copy of the Traffic Order that prohibits cycling.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.
Attached is the Traffic Order which permits cycles to use the northern footway from the east side of Pagoda Avenue to Sandycombe Road.
The sign indicates the end of the cycle track and reminds cyclists that cycling beyond that point on the footway is prohibited by the Highways Act 1835 as amended by the Local Government Act 1888 (both attached).
