Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14 March 2023 asking for information about a diversion on Conduit Street, W1 on 5 and 10 December 2022.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked: Please could you supply details of any road closures full or partial on Conduit Street, W1, for the following dates: 5/12 2022 10/12/2022 Further could you advise if the number 22 bus was on diversion on either of the above dates.
We cannot find any details of Conduit Street being either partly or fully closed on either of those dates; Conduit Street is not under the jurisdiction of TfL and as such there may have been a closure by the Local Authority that we may not be aware of. With regards to the route 22, it was on diversion between 13:20 and 14:05 on 10 December due to a demo at Oxford Circus. The route 22 was also on diversion between 19:10 and 21:42 on the same date due to Piccadilly Circus being blocked by football supporters. Please see the notes below which explain this in more detail:
