I am currently generating a carbon footprint report and I cannot find a price to average distance conversion for the London Underground. Please could you assist with this? In particular I would like the conversion for 2017 & 2023. I have spoken to other companies and they would also find this information useful in generating more accurate and complete carbon footprint reports.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 21 December 2023 asking for information about spend based conversion to average distance.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy. We are not sure what you mean by the ‘price to average distance conversion’ for the London Underground.
We do, however, hold data on the CO2 per passenger km for London Underground (and different modes of transport). I have attached this information, which I hope you will find useful.
