Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12 March 2023 asking for information about emissions testing of motorbikes. Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) and our information access policy. You asked: Please advise of the information you hold on A. How many motorbikes have i) Failed the emissions test at a TfL-approved motorbike testing centre and then went on to pass Ii) Passed the emissions test at a TfL-approved motorbike testing centre first time
We do not hold the information you have requested - Test Centres carry out testing rather than TfL and as such we don’t hold information on whether a test is successful first time or second time. please contact the Test Centres directly to ask if they can provide you with this information: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low-emission-zone/motorcycles-mopeds-and-more.
