Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 13th December 2023 asking for information about the West and East Greenwich Design Proposals.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we hold the information you require. Your questions are answered in turn below:
Question 1: Please disclose a schedule of all meetings that have been conducted by TFL Staff (including busses) with Greenwich Council or their consultants on these proposals that were consulted upon in August 2023 onwards.
Answer: There were two such meetings, on 13th and 20th November, which discussed these proposals. The invites to those meetings are attached. The direct contact details of TfL staff and the names of external staff have been redacted under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act, the exemption that protects against the unfair release of personal data. Note also that the scheme may have been mentioned briefly in monthly “catch up” meetings between our borough sponsors and the borough, but that was not the purpose nor focus of those meetings.
Question 2: Please disclose all correspondence, text ,messages, traffic modelling, WhatsApp's, and reports (including but not limited to all traffic modelling) shared, seen or considered by TFL businesses and the Mayor, on these proposals.
Answer: Correspondence is attached. Again, a small number redactions have been made under section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act.
Question 3: Please disclose full details of any TFL funding for these projects.
Answer: TfL has agreed funding of £111k for the current financial year.
