A follow up. Given you won't say where the cameras are, that changes the nature of the cameras from overt to covert.
Have you obtained a warrant to implement covert surveillance of people in private cars? A completely different set of laws applies to covert surveillance.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 14 December 2023 asking for information about covert cameras.
Your request has been considered under the requirements of the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access policy.
I can confirm that we do hold the information you require.
The cameras are not convert as they are visible. Information related to TfL cameras, such as the location of all TfL cameras as requested in your initial request FOI-3028-2324, have been withheld due to the risk of adversely affecting the safety and security of TfL employees and members of the general public as well as national security.
