We answered

Our Ref:         FOI-3310-1819

Thank you for your request received on 5 March 2019 asking for information about funding Heathrow has offered towards the cost of Crossrail.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and TfL’s information access policy. I can confirm we hold some of the information you require.
Heathrow Airport Limited is due to pay a £70 million contribution towards the cost of the Crossrail project.

No payment has been made to date. Crossrail Sponsors (Transport for London (TfL) and the Department for Transport (DfT)) are working with Heathrow Airport Limited to finalise the arrangements to enable the payment of the £70m contribution towards the project.

It should be noted that the original agreement for the payment of a contribution towards Crossrail was between the DfT and Heathrow Airport Limited, and not TfL. If you require any further information regarding the contribution, we suggest contacting the DfT:

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.

Yours sincerely
