Thank you for your email received by us on 9 March 2023 asking for yearly passenger trips on the London Underground.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy. I can confirm we do hold the information you require.

We publish the number of journeys on our network by type of transport via the London Datastore available via this link;  https://data.london.gov.uk/dataset/public-transport-journeys-type-transport. Data is available from 2010 until 2023.

We also have annual station passenger counts data from 2017 to 2020 available via http://crowding.data.tfl.gov.uk/

In accordance with section 21 of the FOI Act, we are not obliged to supply you with a copy of the requested information as it is already accessible to you elsewhere.
