Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12 December 2023 asking for information about the Cleaner Vehicle discount and the Congestion Charge.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold the information you require.

Since January 2023, there are no longer registration or renewal fees to add vehicles to Auto Pay for the Congestion Charge, the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charge and the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) charge.

Revenue generated from the administration fees for the Cleaner vehicle discount goes into improving transport in London according to the Mayor’s Transport Strategy.
