1. How many Sponsored Route Agreements has TfL signed with local authorities in the past 5 years and how many are currently under discussion/in draft form ? 2. Could you list the bus routes and the sponsoring borough for each agreement together with the amount agreed and the time period.

Thank you for your request which we received on 6 March 2023, asking for information about sponsored bus route agreements.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm TfL does hold the information you require. You asked:

1. How many Sponsored Route Agreements has TfL signed with local authorities in the past 5 years and how many are currently under discussion/in draft form?

2. Could you list the bus routes and the sponsoring borough for each agreement together with the amount agreed and the time period.

The below table shows route agreements that TfL entered into with local authorities in the past five years. There are 3 in total, 1 is in operation and 2 have expired.
