You asked
Hi there,
My Freedom of Information request concerns the cost of the TfL Staff Nominee pass.
Could you please tell me how many journeys were taken using this pass between May 2016 and January 2020?
Of these journeys, could you tell me how many were taken on the Tube, Docklands Light Railway, or London Overground and on buses and trams?
Could you please tell me how much this is estimated to have cost in lost travel receipts?
Please let me know if you require any further information about this request.
Best wishes,

Our Ref: FOI-3241-1920
Thank you for your request received on 25 January 2020 asking for information about the staff nominee pass.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and our information access policy.
We do not hold the information you have requested. We do not hold data on journeys made using an identifiable Oyster cards for longer than eight weeks and therefore we cannot provide the information requested on the number or type of journeys made using nominee cards.
There is no cost to TfL because the number of journeys made is a tiny proportion of the 13m journeys made every day on TfL-run transport, meaning no additional services need to be operated.
All TfL employees and their nominees are expected to act as ambassadors for TfL, helping ensure the security of the system and helping assist our customers where necessary.
The retired nominee pass is eligible to members of TfL staff who have 20 years of service or more and who are over the age of 50.
Please accept our apologies that we are unable to assist you further on this occasion.
Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to appeal.
Yours sincerely
