Dear Transport for London, Please supply the details, locations and maps of any shared pavements in Southwark that are designated as both pedestrian and cyclist joint use. Some of these I suspect are on red routes, in which case they come under your remit.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 3 March 2023 asking for information about shared pavements in Southwark.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.  I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked:
Please supply the details, locations and maps of any shared pavements in Southwark that are designated as both pedestrian and cyclist joint use. Some of these I suspect are on red routes, in which case they come under your remit.

Attached are the s65(1) of the Highways Act 1980 notices for the cycle tracks in the London Borough of Southwark as listed below. We have indicated the ones where we have located plans in the electronic directory or have scanned and attached paper copies (there is one plan that we have been unable to locate as indicated).

This is because disclosure of this personal data would be a breach of the legislation, specifically the first principle which requires all processing of personal data to be fair and lawful. It would not be fair to disclose this personal information when the individuals have no expectation it would be disclosed and TfL has not satisfied one of the conditions which would make the processing ‘fair’.
