Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information:
- The pier usage fees for all private operators using TfL-owned piers.
- The construction costs of Royal Wharf pier, and how much, if any, was covered by TfL.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 5 December 2023 asking for information about our piers.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. You asked: Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I request the following information:
- The pier usage fees for all private operators using TfL-owned piers. - The construction costs of Royal Wharf pier, and how much, if any, was covered by TfL.
Please see attached London River Service’s Schedule of Pier Use Charges for your reference which contains the information you have requested. All operators wishing to use a TfL pier may do so under licence following the relevant application process.
With regards to Royal Wharf Pier, the pier was developed by Ballymore & Oxley and is served by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers. TfL did not contribute financially to the construction of the pier.
