As of 1st January 2019, please provide the number of licenced petrol and diesel private hire vehicles (PHVs) operating in London - broken down by fuel propulsion and euro emission standard. Please include the numbers of pure electric vehicles.
Please note that the figures I am looking for are for PHVs only, not black cabs (taxis).

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request of 25th February 2019 asking for information about the number of licenced petrol and diesel private hire vehicles operating in London.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy. I can confirm that we hold some of the information you require. Specifically you asked:
“As of 1st January 2019, please provide the number of licenced petrol and diesel private hire vehicles (PHVs) operating in London - broken down by fuel propulsion and euro emission standard. Please include the numbers of pure electric vehicles.”
The information that we hold in relation to your request is shown in the table below - it is correct as of 28th December 2018.
