Under the Freedom of Information Act, may I ask for the following:
• The number of warning letters sent to speeding drivers in the London Borough of Waltham Forest since 2022 to the present day.
• Please specify which roads these were (whereby speeding took place).
• The dates whereby warning letters were sent.
• The speed that drivers were doing for a warning letter to be issued.

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 4th December 2023 asking for information about speeding in the London borough of Waltham Forest.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.
Specifically you asked:

I am afraid that TfL does not hold the requested information. Warning letters and penalties for speeding offences are issued by the police rather than TfL. I would therefore suggest that you redirect your request to the Metropolitan Police, which can be done via its website here:
